Sotomayor: Judges Make Policy

Obama has chosen his new Supreme Court justice - Sonya Sotomayor, who believes strongly that it is the judges that make law and policy in this country.

A true radical for the courts, but of course, any opposition by Republicans will be explained as a hatred of hispanics and women.

Human Events has two important points about Sotomayor: 1) she believes in racism, as long as we discriminate against whites; and 2) rather than relying on law, she believes that judges need to "consider their experiences as women and people of color" to help make decisions. (The Constitution appears to be an arbitrary nuisance.)
