The U.S. Did Not Elect This President Obama

As the U.S. is on the verge of losing its AAA rating and the dollar on the precipice of collapse, I can't help but think that this Barack Obama was not elected. Instead, it was the facade of the tax-cutting, responsible government Obama that was elected president. Of course, many of us knew that it was just a facade, but no matter - he fooled enough people.

Does anyone really think Obama could win if he campaigned on ballooning the size of government, creating a deficit so large that it would add another $25,000 in debt for every man, woman and child and that even after this debt, the economy would still be in shambles - as well as increasing taxes on everyone and everything, nationalizing the financial industry and the health care system and apologizing to the entire world for the evils of the U.S. both past and present?

I don't think so.
