Inspector General for Fannie, Freddie Remains Unfilled

Obama has yet to fill the vacant position of inspector general for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac - likely because an independent IG would see all of unsound financial practices of the two government entities.

Think about it - if there's no inspector general, then the agencies can carry out Obama's political agenda without any repercussions. And that agenda is a de facto nationalization of the mortgage industry.
