Federal Gov't Workers Make 77% More Than Private Sector
There used to be a day when working for the government meant low pay but a cushy job and benefits and absolute job security. That was then. Now, the average federal government employee makes over $71,000, or 77% more than the $40,000 that the average private sector employee makes. Likewise, the number who make over $100,000 has jumped by 19% during the recession.
And if you have had the opportunity to meet the number of incompetent individuals who work in the federal government, your head would spin. It has become a completely outrageous bloated welfare state.
