Another Memogate?

Michelle Malkin has an interesting post on the memo that was supposedly written by "Republican leadership" and circulated among the GOP as talking points on the Terri Schiavo case. Nearly every media outlet in the country has focused on this memo, decrying it as political grandstanding. The memo's source? We have no idea.
Cynthia Tucker says in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution the memo was passed around by "an anonymous GOP strategist." The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette said the memo was circulated by "party leaders." Citing the Washington Post, Chris Matthews said the memo was circulated by "the Senate leadership."

Funny - I have a memo here on my desk signed by Democrats about how they love killing people for fun...NY Times? Washington Post? I said I have a memo...

Meanwhile, the Daily Kos, the new Democratic top media blog looks at the positive in the Schiavo case (courtesy Ankle Biting Pundits):

It's a horrible story [Schiavo case], but there's a silver lining in it all. Watch Republicans as they go on the defensive on this case. Their memo bragged about how great an issue this would be to wield against Democrats. The reality is shaping up looking much different.

Power Line has a great roundup of the questionable memo. Something stinks about this...
