PBS: Who Needs It?
Brent Bozell talks about the real issue at PBS (via Power Line). The issue is not that there is a liberal bias at a government-funded tv station; the issue is that there is a government-funded tv station.
Even if PBS agreed with 100% of my views, I would still propose to cancel all government funding for it. Today any American who really wants specific television (cable or satellite) programming can have it. I enjoy a free Irish Tenors concert as much as the next person, but I would rather have the government return my money from the PBS subsidy and then I can pay for it myself.
