From Fox News: There are three separate sources that claim Sandra Day O'Connor's retirement is "imminent." They seem pretty certain.
Confirmed.
I will try not to post too much on this subject, since it will be the ONLY thing the media will talk about for the next few months.
My only point: MSM will be hyping the term "moderate" so as not to "shift the balance" of the Court. The truth is that the Court needs a conservative to keep it balanced. Right now, we have 4 liberals, 3 conservatives and 1 "moderate" (Kennedy).
And let's face it - based on the past several elections, this country tips slightly conservative. My guess is that by the end of next year, we will have 5 conservatives and 4 liberals - and rightfully so.
