McCartney Advocates Abolishing Death Tax

Before her death, Linda McCartney expressed her opinion of UK's 40% death tax by filing for probate in New York, which eliminated her requirement to pay even two pence to the government. Mark Steyn has more (hat tip to JB for the link). For those of you who haven't read Steyn previously, he is one of the best journalists around.

Perhaps if the Live8 performers really cared about Africa, they would start by paying of few percent in taxes to their own government rather than begging the U.S. for an additional $50 billion.
