Happy Independence Day! I'm currently finishing up David McCullough's "1776," which is a fascinating read about the turmoil within our army during the year of revolution. George Will has a good review here. The book shows how important the military founding fathers (or, for Brian Williams, the founding terrorists) were to America's independence - specifically, Washington, Greene and Knox.
