The UN's "Big Dig"

What do you get when you take Boston's Big Dig project and move it to an organization that is even more corrupt and less accountable than Boston politicians? It's the UN's new building renovation project, which is currently budgeted at a lean $1.9 billion (recall that the Big Dig was actually budgeted at a lower amount than that when it was originally planned).

John Bolton is the lone voice at the UN in opposing the new boondoggle. However, in some ways we shouldn't be too upset - the project is still only a fraction of the dollars stolen under the UN Oil-for-Food Scandal.
