Key Democratic Races Run to the Right

As the NY Times points out, Democrats in many key Congressional races are hoping to win their races by moving sharply to the right. Take for example Brad Ellsworth (D-IN). He received an 'A' rating from the NRA and has even signed Grover Norquist's "no tax hike" pledge. While a few Republicans are running to the Left (Lincoln Chafee), I believe the Dems will be more successful in this case because I believe most Americans have generally more conservative values.

Even if the Democrats take the House, I think there will be enough conservative Democrats that any really harmful legislation would be passed. And while I'm still confident the GOP will hold Congress despite the predictions of the MSM, the Senate is much more important because of the role it has in deciding new judges.
