Fannie, Freddie Donate Cash to Jesse Jackson Foundations

It's bad enough that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac receive backing from the federal government. It's worse still that unemployed politicians (Jamie Gorelick, Jim Johnson, Franklin Raines) make millions of dollars as incompetent managers who can't figure out their own accounting issues. But to then donate millions of dollars, including to organizations like Jesse Jackson's PUSH coalition, Fannie and Freddie have more than just a small conflict of interest. I'm guessing that they don't donate money to the Heritage Foundation or American Enterprise Institute.

Maybe we really don't want to know what's behind Fannie and Freddie's numbers.
