Bin Laden Driver Sentenced to Only 5 1/2 Years

Salim Hamdan, Osama Bin Laden's driver being held at Gitmo, received a sentence of only 5 1/2 years from a military tribunal today.

This result shows us a few things:
1) Military tribunals are not the kangaroo courts that liberals claim they are;
2) These trials might well let terrorists free to kill us again after they serve a very short sentence because of the difficulty of "proving" that one is a terrorist (our soldiers aren't supposed to collect evidence when they capture them on the battlefield).
3) The most bothersome of all is that the defense lawyers are absolutely giddy that their terrorist clients might be freed to go out and kill again. This is precisely why lawyers have a terrible name.
