Brain Williams: Iran Not Really a Threat

On the Daily Show with John Stewart, Brian Williams asserted that Iran is not really a threat. Rather, Ahmedinejahd is simply playing to his base without really meaning anything he says. He's just like a politician from Cleveland, according to Williams.

In the previous exchange, Stewart actually said that Saddam also was simply another politician as well, without any rebuttal from Williams. (I wonder if he thinks gassing the Kurda, killing thousands of Shia and invading Kuwait were nothing more than the average politician does as well.) From Newsbusters.

When the news anchor of NBC says things like this, it's no wonder that the network media has become nothing more than a joke in this country.
