OH Dem Election Official Rejects Thousands of GOP Ballots

Thousands of Republicans who requested absentee ballots were rejected by Ohio Democrat Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner. Her excuse was that the applicants did not check a box that said "I am a qualified elector." This application was designed by McCain's campaign and according to state law, the box does not need to be there or be checked, but for Brunner, she seems to prefer the "Chicago way."

"Well, I tell you what, it helps in Ohio that we've got Democrats in charge of the machines," Barack Obama said on Sept. 3.
