Beffett's Bullish Bet on Stock Markets

In a vote of confidence in the long-term success of the global economy, Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway has written long-term puts on four major global stock indexes.

Even though I view the move as bullish, one shouldn't be too surprised. If an event were to occur that caused stock prices to crash over the long-term, I'm sure Berkshire will be there to gobble them up.

At least Warren seems to have given up his foolish doomsday bet on the U.S. dollar.
