Bush Iraq Visit: "Political Stunt?"

Surely enough, as President Bush made a dramatic visit to Iraq's new prime minister and government, some in the MSM are already labelling it a "political stunt." NBC's Andrea Mitchell said as much on Chrissy Matthews' "Hardball," as did AP writer Patrick Quinn, who said:

Many Sunnis and even some Shiite political parties dismissed President Bush's visit to Baghdad on Tuesday as merely an attempt to associate himself with positive developments in Iraq - formation of the new government and last week's killing of the country's most feared terrorist.

An "attempt to associate himself" with Iraq?? Are you kidding? Bush gets faulted if some Iraqi's vegetables are undercooked and now he supposedly has nothing to do with any of its successes? That's why journalists get a bad name.
