Blog Traffic Study

Hundred Percenter has an interesting study on blog traffic statistics. Since the November elections, blog traffic is down by approximately 17.7%. Some of the most popular political blogs are down by much larger amounts. This figure is likely difficult to draw any conclusions simply because November likely saw a huge abnormal spike in traffic. Also, year-over-year gains are still very strong.

(Note that Bizblogger made his debut since the November election, so I don't have any personal thoughts on the subject.)

Meanwhile, newspaper circulation figures continue to decline.
